Poker Creek Port of Entry Reopening for Summer 2025
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is pleased to announce the reopening of the Poker Creek Port of Entry for the 2025 summer season. The port will be open from May 18, 2025, to September 15, 2025.
Important Dates and Times
Opening and closing dates are weather dependent and subject to change with short notice. Travelers should plan accordingly. Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Alaska Standard Time (9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Yukon Standard Time). Remember, Alaska is one hour behind Yukon, Canada time.
I-94 Requirements
Non-U.S. or Canadian citizens requiring an I-94 are encouraged to apply in advance through the CBP Home Mobile Application or the CBP I-94 website. A $6 USD fee applies, payable via Pay.gov using PayPal or credit/debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover). If not obtained beforehand, exact change ($6 USD) will be required upon arrival.
Visa Waiver Program (ESTA)
Visa Waiver Program travelers entering the U.S. by land must obtain a travel authorization (ESTA) prior to arrival. This authorization is generally valid for multiple trips over two years or until passport expiration, whichever comes first.
