Slovak Response to COVID-19, Travel Restrictions to The United States of America, and Consular Services at Embassy Bratislava
As of April 21, 2022, masks are only required to be worn in healthcare settings. Children under the age of 6 years are exempt from all mask requirements. As of April 6, 2022, all COVID-19 requirements for entry to Slovakia are cancelled, regardless of vaccination status.
Update on Safely Resuming Travel by Vaccine Requirement and Rescission of Travel Restrictions
Effective December 6, 2021, all airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older, regardless of vaccination status or citizenship, must provide a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within one calendar day of travel. Alternatively, travelers to the United States may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider of having recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel.
